Surveys BULLETIN Wednesday, May 15, 2024 STUDENTS: Spartan Music Program Pops Concert will be May 16 th . 4:30 BBQ set up, 5:00 Music students arrive. 5:00-6:00 Games and food in the parking lot. Enjoy a tailgating event with parents taking over the parking lot. 6:00 Concert begins and should conclude by 7:15 pm. After the concert the WBCSD school administration will judge BBQ entries and award the title Best BBQ in Priest River”. Families are encouraged to stay and share food and music after the concert is done. Rain plan – If it rains we will move inside the gym. Dress code: Dress like it’s a football tailgating party – black and orange. Keep it casual unless you prefer to go fancy. This event will set the tone for our upcoming football season; tailgating, listening to the school bands play and sharing food and friendship. 1 st Annual Priest River Lamanna High School Student Council Fundraiser Fishing Tournament!!!! May 18 th from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Signups are May 18 th at 7:00 am at the Priest River Lamanna High School Gym. There are 3 tournaments of which two are open to the public. BIGGEST FISH by weight - $15 entry. THREE SPECIES COMBINED WEIGHT (fish must be all different species) $15 entry. WBCSD STUDENTS BIGGEST FISH (by weight) $10 entry. *Only active WBCSD students can participate (Must show proof of enrollment) The fishing tournament is being used as a fundraiser for Student Council/Leadership Class of PRLHS. 50% of the entry fees from the two public tournaments go right to the student council funds. The Student Council uses these funds to host events at the high school like dances, homecoming, pep assemblies, and other school culture improving events. We are in need of some volunteers to help manage the tournament and work with the Leadership students to help weigh and record the fish weights as well as manage prizes. We are also looking for donations to help bolster the prize pool. If you would like to donate fishing tackle or gear, please contact Tommy Hansen at PRLHS (208) 448-1211 ext 7123. A list and map of weight stations will be available as we get closer to the tournament. Winners will be announced at the PRLHS Gym and prizes awarded starting at 5:00 pm on May 18 th . If the winner is not there to claim their prize, the prize will be awarded to the next placer. SENIORS: Mock Car Crash will be May 29 th at 9:00 am in Sandpoint. Bus transportation will be provided. This is a mandatory event for seniors. Seniors: ALL fees and fines must be paid before graduation rehearsal. This includes lunch fees, missing books, uniforms, etc. Senior Finals will be June 3 rd and June 4 th . Seniors last day of school will be June 5 th . Graduation Rehearsal will be June 7 th at 9:00 am. You must attend rehearsal in order to walk in the ceremony on June 8 th . Graduation is June 8 th at 10:00 am. ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES: Spring Sports Awards: Softball is scheduled for 5/17 4PM at the softball field @ the JH Track is scheduled for 5/28 6PM the HS cafeteria Golf Awards 5/30 6PM PRLHS cafeteria Lady Spartan Soccer Team is offering a soccer camp on May 31 st from 9am to 4pm. Our senior girls with the help from our juniors will be sharing their skills and knowledge of the game. It will be held on the big field here at the high school. Lunch and a t-shirt are provided. The cost is only $25. Come join the fun and learn from the best. Lady Spartan Soccer sign-up has begun for the 24-25 season. Please sign up at the AD’s information board. We will be having a Player/Parent meeting before school is out for summer. Come join the best team sport in high school.
